The Skoda Peaq symbolizes a new step in Skoda's electric power surge. Positioned at the top of the Czech manufacturer's zero-emission SUV range, this family model aims to combine space, technology, and range to meet the expectations of an increasingly demanding European audience. With up to 7 seats and over 640 km of announced range, it clearly targets families looking for a versatile vehicle for long journeys.
A robust design and strong visual identity
The Skoda Peaq fits into the brand's new design language, dubbed Modern Solid. The approach is clearly oriented towards a more assertive style, with taut lines and a very structured silhouette. The SUV displays generous proportions, measuring 4.87 m long, 1.85 m wide, and 1.66 m high, confirming its positioning in the large family SUV segment.

The overall design boasts a strong visual presence, accentuated by wheels that can reach 21 inches and integrated door handles to enhance aerodynamics. At the rear, the T-shaped light signature incorporates the brand's recent codes and ensures stylistic continuity with other electric models in the range.

Designed for families, the Peaq offers a configuration of up to 7 seats, reinforcing its role as a versatile SUV capable of handling both daily commutes and long-distance travel.

A technical foundation favoring range
Beneath its bodywork, the Skoda Peaq is powered by a 91 kWh battery, of which 86 kWh is usable. This capacity allows it to announce up to 644 km of WLTP range in its 286-horsepower rear-wheel-drive version, a figure that places it among the references in its segment. A segment where the Peugeot E-5008 has held a prominent position until now.

An all-wheel-drive variant, named 90X, boosts the power to 299 horsepower. While the range slightly decreases to around 611 km, the performance remains consistent for an SUV of this size.

In terms of charging, the model accepts up to 200 kW in direct current, allowing a significant portion of the range to be recovered in just under 30 minutes under optimal conditions. This is a crucial point for a vehicle designed for long trips.

The Peaq will be delivered starting this fall. However, its presence on the roads of the Tour de France, with Skoda being a major partner, is expected to accelerate its visibility, as Skoda takes advantage of its historic partnership with the event to widely showcase its new electric SUV to the public.
