Taiwanese company Foxconn, primarily known as one of Apple’s main manufacturing partners, has unveiled its second production electric vehicle.

The new model is named Cavira and is created under the Foxtron brand - the automotive division of the company. Initially, the model will be sold in the Taiwanese market, but it may appear in other countries later.
Dimensions Similar to Tesla Model Y
Externally, the Cavira resembles the compact hatchback Bria, which Foxtron showcased earlier this year. However, the new crossover is noticeably larger. Its length is 4,695 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2,920 mm. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle is close to the Tesla Model Y.
The front features narrow LED headlights connected by a light strip, as well as a black insert instead of a traditional grille. The sides showcase expressive creases, while the rear is equipped with slim LED taillights and a spoiler integrated into the roof edge.

Two Versions and Up to 578 km Range
Foxtron will offer the Cavira in two modifications. Both use a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 82.7 kWh.
The base version, Emerge Long-Range Edition, is equipped with a single electric motor on the rear axle producing 249 hp (186 kW). The claimed range is up to 578 km.
For those who prioritize performance, a version called Pioneer Long-Range Performance Edition has been prepared. It features two electric motors with a total output of 468 hp (349 kW).
In this case, the range decreases to 538 km, but acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.8 seconds.
Minimalism in the Cabin
The interior of the Cavira is designed in a style typical of modern electric vehicles. A digital instrument panel is positioned in front of the driver, while a vertical 15.6-inch screen for the multimedia system is located in the center.
However, Foxtron has not completely abandoned physical controls. Below the display, a row of switches for the most important vehicle functions has been retained.
Additional features include a sound system with 12 speakers, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless software updates, and an interior fragrance system.
