New Lancia Gamma: Electric Version Spotted Ahead of Launch
The new Lancia Gamma, a sleek fastback crossover, is set to debut with a fully electric version. Recent spy photos reveal its design and features ahead of the launch.

New Model of the Italian Brand Spotted on the Streets
The new Lancia Gamma, a sleek fastback crossover with a tapered rear, is gearing up for its market debut. Just a couple of months after the release of initial official images by Lancia, the new model has been captured on the roads recently, as evidenced by a series of spy photos taken and shared online by car spotter Walter Vayr, showcasing a prototype of the new Lancia Gamma BEV, which is the fully electric version.

These images of the new Lancia Gamma undergoing tests on Italian roads confirm that the development process is nearing its final stages, providing a glimpse of one of the most anticipated models that the Stellantis group plans to unveil by the end of this year.
Built on the STLA Medium Platform in Melfi
The Lancia Gamma will be constructed on the STLA Medium platform, boasting a strong Italian identity as it has been designed, engineered, and developed entirely in Italy. The production will also take place at the Stellantis facility in Melfi, further emphasizing its Italian roots.
Elegant Crossover with Fastback Lines
The latest spy photos reaffirm the impressions given by the first official images of the new Lancia Gamma, revealing a vehicle with impressive dimensions. Measuring 4.67 meters in length, it features clean, modern lines and a minimalist front design characterized by slim headlights and smooth surfaces. The pronounced wheel arches and large wheels enhance the vehicle's visual presence, while the rear emphasizes sophistication and distinctiveness with the Lancia name spanning the width and a thin light strip extending across the tailgate, complemented by a vertical light element in the center, beneath which is the Gamma nameplate.
Hybrid and Electric Options with Three Power Variants
With order openings expected after the summer, the new Lancia Gamma will be offered with a diverse range of powertrains including a 145 HP hybrid version and several full electric variants. For the Lancia Gamma BEV, featured in these captured images, the powertrain lineup will consist of three options. Two will have single motors, delivering 230 HP and 245 HP with claimed maximum ranges of over 540 km and over 740 km, respectively. The third option will include a dual motor setup, providing all-wheel drive with a power output of 375 HP and a range of up to 675 km on a single charge.
