DS N°7 2026: The DS SUV Validates Its Eco-Score and Gains Competitiveness

The new high-end electric SUV from DS Automobiles has reached a key milestone in its commercialization. The DS N°7 has just received validation of its eco-score, an essential certification that conditions its access to the ecological bonus in the French market. A strong signal for a model positioned in a particularly competitive segment.

A Green Light That Opens Access to the Ecological Bonus

Granted on June 18, 2026, this environmental recognition now allows the DS N°7 to benefit from a public aid estimated at around 3,600 euros, according to current pricing criteria. This development immediately improves its pricing position against established premium electric SUVs.

With a starting price set at 46,990 euros, the model becomes eligible in its base configuration. This is the E-Tense FWD version, equipped with a 230-horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels, paired with a 73.7 kWh battery. This configuration claims up to 543 kilometers of range in the WLTP cycle, a competitive level in the category.

An Electric Offer Designed for Different Uses

The DS N°7 range is not limited to a single configuration. The manufacturer offers several 100% electric variants, with three power levels ranging from 230 to 350 horsepower. Some versions also benefit from temporary power boosts, which can reach up to an additional 35 horsepower depending on driving conditions.

Two batteries are offered to meet distinct needs: a 73.7 kWh unit for the standard version and a 97.2 kWh battery reserved for Long Range variants. The entire setup is based on a 400-volt electrical architecture, designed to balance performance and versatility.

The range includes the E-TENSE FWD 230 horsepower, FWD Long Range 245 horsepower, and AWD Long Range 350 horsepower variants, catering to both daily commutes and long-distance travel.

An Additional Lever for Individual and Professional Buyers

The acquisition of the eco-score benefits not only individuals. Companies can also take advantage of this status, particularly through tax incentives related to electrified vehicles, including adjustments on benefits in kind.

Some Long Range versions may also qualify for the ecological bonus, provided they meet the imposed price thresholds. This constraint could prompt the brand to adjust its pricing strategy to broaden the eligibility of its range.

With this validation, the DS N°7 gains a decisive advantage in a market where environmental compliance becomes as structuring a criterion as design, technology, or performance.
