Fiat Expands Electric Vehicle Lineup with the New 600e
Fiat's 500 Electric ranks third in Germany's BEV sales, while the new 600e expands its electric vehicle offerings.
Recent statistics from the Kraftfahrtbundesamt reveal that the Fiat 500 Electric ranks third among battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in Germany.

In October 2023, Fiat reaffirmed its significance in Germany's electric vehicle market. According to the monthly statistics from the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA), the Fiat 500 Electric secured the third position in the list of best-selling BEVs. Last month, 1,785 new Fiat 500 Electric vehicles were registered in Germany, significantly contributing to the success of the Stellantis Group, which emerged as the leading provider of electric vehicles across brands in Germany during September. In that month, Fiat increased its market share in Germany to 3.2 percent.
Andreas Mayer, head of the Abarth, Fiat, and Fiat Professional brands in Germany, commented on this achievement: "Fiat's electrification initiative continues to resonate well with customers in Germany. We are proud that the Fiat 500 Electric has been among the best-selling vehicles in this segment for about two years, playing a crucial role in Fiat's success in Germany. The new Fiat 600e will further advance our brand. This 'big brother' of the Fiat 500 Electric is already available for order and allows families to drive environmentally friendly while enjoying Italian style."
The Fiat 500 Electric is noted for its innovative design and eco-friendly technology. A key element of its success is the diverse model range that caters to various needs. For instance, there is an affordable 23.8 kWh battery, ideal for short trips in well-equipped charging environments, offering a range of up to 257 kilometers in urban settings according to the WLTP cycle*. Other versions come equipped with a 42 kWh battery, providing a combined range of up to 320 kilometers based on the WLTP cycle, and up to 460 kilometers in city driving.
Additionally, the Fiat 500 Electric stands out in its segment with three distinct body styles. It is available as a classic two-door hatchback with a rear hatch, a convertible with an electrically operated soft top, and the Fiat 500 Electric 3+1, which features an extra door on the passenger side for easier access to the rear seats.
