Iveco and Petronas Extend Strategic Partnership to 2032
Iveco and Petronas have renewed their strategic partnership, extending their collaboration until 2032 to promote innovation in commercial transport and develop high-performance lubricants.

Collaboration Aims to Drive Innovation in Commercial Transport

The partnership between Iveco and Petronas is set to continue for at least another five years. The two companies have announced the renewal of their strategic collaboration, extending their partnership agreement until 2032. This renewed commitment solidifies over five decades of joint efforts in developing high-performance lubricants tailored for the commercial transport sector, emphasizing efficiency, sustainability, and technological innovation.
The agreement encompasses the ongoing development and supply of a comprehensive range of products designed for Iveco vehicles aimed at European markets. Petronas will continue to provide Iveco with engine oils, transmission fluids, brake fluids, and coolants, all engineered to ensure high performance, reliability, and extended component life.
Over Fifty Years of Technical Excellence
The success of this collaboration is evident in the co-branded product lines Iveco Urania and Iveco Tutela, which are the only fluids officially recommended by the manufacturer. These products are the result of decades of shared research and development, designed to optimize vehicle uptime, reduce total operating costs, and enhance energy efficiency.
Recently, the partnership introduced Urania Next 0W-16, the first SAE 0W-16 engine oil specifically developed for heavy-duty applications. This innovative formulation is designed to lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while extending oil change intervals. Additionally, the new lubricant meets the Euro 7 regulatory requirements, contributing to the performance of the latest generation of Iveco engines.
