The Audi Q4 e-tron Reduces Prices and Increases Its Range

Long considered a bit too expensive compared to its competitors, the Audi Q4 e-tron has undergone significant changes. Audi has not only improved the range and charging performance of its model, but the German brand has also revised its prices to make its premium SUV much more attractive.

This new strategy allows the Q4 e-tron to regain its position in an extremely competitive segment, particularly against American and French manufacturers.

A Significant Increase in Range for the 82 kWh Version

The entry price for the electric SUV is now set at €45,990 with the 63 kWh battery. This version delivers 204 horsepower and claims a range of up to 442 kilometers WLTP.

However, the most interesting offer in the lineup now concerns the 82 kWh battery. Available from €46,990, just €1,000 more, it allows for 286 horsepower and, importantly, a range of up to 580 kilometers. This figure places the Q4 e-tron among the references in the segment in terms of efficiency.

Audi also continues to offer a quattro performance version aimed at customers seeking more versatility and traction. With its two electric motors and all-wheel drive, this variant boasts a range of up to 543 kilometers. However, its price starts at €59,990.

The Sportback variants, with a more dynamic style, remain in the catalog with an additional cost of €2,000 compared to the standard SUV.

A More Aggressive Positioning Against Competitors

With this price reduction, Audi is clearly looking to enhance the appeal of its family electric SUV. The model equipped with the larger battery even falls below the threshold to qualify for the ecological bonus, an essential factor in the French market.

In comparison, the Tesla Model Y maintains strong arguments with a claimed superior range of 609 kilometers for a similar price. However, Audi is primarily betting on a more premium approach with a more upscale interior presentation and a strong brand image among European customers.

The Peugeot e-3008 also ranks among the main competitors of the German SUV thanks to a more accessible price and a claimed range of up to 526 kilometers.

With this new pricing structure, Audi seems to have finally found the right balance between performance, range, and price to make the Q4 e-tron much more competitive.
